yes, I've felt raises in energy in this area.
it has been while i am sitting and i feel a rush of energy rise from where my backside touches the seat and raises to hte top of my hip at the back.
the first time was on one side, then a couple of weeks later, the other side.
now more recently, i had the same sensation only more towards the front of my pelvis.
I've not really dwelled upon it, I just accepted it and enjoy the raise in energy.

It is focused on either side of the pelvis. I can 'bounce' energy back and forth from left to right, and then focus it in either my root, or pelvis chakra. From there I can move it up, or down.

But it always goes back to 'kinking' in the right hip crease. I specificially remember someone here refering to these two spots as their own unique chakras,m apart from the spinal column, though I have also felt, and seen, many systems that identify two chakra 'points' to either side of every spinal chakra... how the perspectives interlock ... is something I'm interested in.

But I also have a sense that there is just too much energy 'stuck' on this right side. even though my normal techniques affect it, and even build a lot of energy, they don't seem to bring it into a deeper balance... yet : )

daniel, I have always took it for granted that there are chakras in many junction points in the body.
if i scan my body i can usually pinpoint the main ones besides the 7 spinal chakras.
sometimes i find it helpful to point with my fingers when scanning. i hover my fingers over an area and i usually feel the force and power of the chakra.
I feel by my pelvis in hte area you are referring to and i do feel a very strong force there.
i feel almost like as though these points are acting like secondary junction points between the root chakra and the sacral chakra. i feel that energy is being exchanged around these areas and helps to send energy to the pleasure center at the sexual organs.

I believe the hip chakras work as a bridge between the lower and upper part of the inner body. They are connected with the Swadistana chakra and located just below the waistline. Imagine an upside down 'V'. The top edge is Swadistana and two lower ends are two hip chakras.

When my body makes yogic postures during meditation, I believe the information sent to the lower body (hips, legs, feet) is done through these chakras. I can call them as pillars for the upper as well as lower body.

These are my own observations based on my personal experience... so I could be wrong :)

I felt these chakras just today while lying down naked on a hard / marble floor. I also did Sirshasana today without the support of a wall. That is why I call hip chakras as Pillars for both upper and lower body. They are powerful :)

hmm, goes right with my difficulty balancing in one legged poses, I have a bit of a disconnect between lower and upper body. thinking of these as pillars will be helpful.

and like you say takeshi, they seem to actually bridge between the tailbone, and pelvis. when I balance them with each other, I can immediately send all that energy into one, or the other of the pelvis or tailbone - with seemingly equal effort and intensity.

          Feels good isn't it?

What happened when you thought of the hip chakras as pillars? From where did that extra energy come from?

It was the same energy that was being used by your ego. It just got transformed and turned inwards, ready to be utilised by your inner being.

The inner being (or call it kundalini/guru) within us knows everything. What should be given to you and at what time. It awaits for the right moment. The yogic postures being made by my body during meditation are meant to purify my inner nervous system and body. So I could be ready to sustain the infinite energy... which is beyond my capacity to bear at the moment.

Have you seen the movie The Exorcist? Do you remember the answer the possessed girl gave to the priest when he asked her to open the drawer again? She said... "In time..."

And when he insisted, she replied again with a bit of anger "IN TIME !"

Do not seek power.... seek peace and power will follow. And beware that ego always try to misuse the power.

Never try to become a saint yourself. Just let God take possession of you. You just be empty, surrendered, in a state of let-go. Let Him move your heart, and then all is beautiful.

I know you know this already :)

I've studied a form of energy psychology that balances energy between the chakras. In this system 13 chakras are used including the leg creases. From a meridian standpoint, I know that important yin meridians go through the leg crease area: Spleen, Liver and Kidney.

If you are having strong sensations, you may want to experiment with balancing that energy: Put one hand on the place of the sensation and put the other on your crown. Hold the two chakras until the energy balances between your two hands or your feel a sense of completion. Then keep the stationary hand on the place of the sensation and repeat the process with all the other chakras working your way down the body. If you are using the 13 chakras, then you will hold and balance with each of these areas (except the one that is stationary): third eye, chin, throat, heart, left heart, right heart, solar plexus, belly button, second chakra, left crease, right crease, and base chakra. You didn't mention any emotional content, words or imagery associated with the sensation, but if any of that is present, repeat the words and call to mind any imagery or emotion with each balance.
