I feel the ratio is still 1:10000 of people who are "genuinely" seeking for answers.

I don't think chakras open for a lot of people in the same time. Unless you are around the presence of a truly enlightened person... and you are empty enough to get hit by his/her vibrations.

My kundalini awakened when my father took me (in spite of my will) to listen to a sermon... I was a sci-fi freak then and never believed in religion. There were about 3000 people in the sermon and at one time the priestess said to all of them to say "OM". That was it. When those 3000 people said OMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... I was stunned. The strong vibration of the word OM being uttered by 3000 people almost killed me. I was dumbstruck and shedding tears. I could not utter a word.

I was like.... Goodbye world!

I remember when my throat chakra was opening, I used to utter seven Sanskrit musical vowels "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni". I also sang Ragas/Sanskrit classical music notes. I never learnt them but I sang them beautifully.

I can say it was the Goddess Saraswati singing through me. One of the 33 creative gods residing in our spine. Kundalini is a beautiful experience to go trough if you do it the right way :)

Hi, Aschleigh F, and everybody here. I saw your post, Aschleigh F, at the Welcome Page, and from it, decided to join this group. My Heart is opening, too! :-)

I watched/listened to, the Memorial service for Michael Jackson on Tuesday. There was a LOT of "heart energy" in that service, and no matter what you may think of MJ, many many people were touched by the energy of the Inner Child and what that means for each and every one of us.

The subject of Child Abuse is a difficult one, and yet we, on this Planet, see it and/or experience it every day. MJ brought a lot of issue to the fore. Opening of the Heart is akin to loving our Inner Child. It is a kind of Unconditional Love that simply IS.

My own feeling is that YES....many people's Hearts are opening...........and now there is that question:

"Now that you've got Love, what are you going to DO with it?" ;-)
