Volunteers for public Chakra Reading

I would like to do a round of public readings, in this thread. Seeking volunteers.

To participate, simply post a response saying 'yes'. I will give you a reading. I will 'read' your energy balance remotely, and offer insight on the areas that are out of balance, along with a simple meditation to guide you - a 'perscription' for the balance I see in you.

To interpret your energy field, I use a thirteen chakra sytem with the same combinations of chakras that musical theory usesto create chords and scales. This 'Wildflower' system helpos to understand how different areas of our psyche resonate in the chakras.

With formal permission, I am able to 'see' quite a lot about you. If you are not open to hearing frank insight in this forum... please do not post a 'yes'. I have done this type of trial several times to great response. This will be the first time I post the replies directly to the thread.

I intend to 'check in' with how several new approaches I'm using... 'work'. As well as explore the idea of public sessions, and how they can inspire group thinking on issues that many minds can tackle well, as well as teach the skills I work with.

Chakra Balancing?

I'm fairly new to this tribe, and I have a question about chakra balancing.

Can I balance any blocked chakra with any of the chakras that are vibrating at the time of the meditation? Or is there a specific pattern that I need to follow to balance chakras? Any help would be appreciated :)

Chakra just below the sternum?

I've read about various conceptions of where "the seven main" chakras are located in the human subtle body. (Yes, I realize some teachers have been saying for a while that there are eight main ones, some say 12, etc.).

Okay. But I'm wondering: Among the main ones, is there a chakra located just below the sternum, corresponding with the fleshy area above what would normally be called "the belly"? IOW, below the heart chakra.

I know some people in the martial arts refer to this area as the solar plexus - but many people think of the solar plexus as being somewhat lower ("halfway between the sternum and the navel"). To be more specific, if you touch the bottom of your sternum and then proceed downward to a point JUST below it... this is where I'm asking about.

So if you know the location that I mean, then I ask: what is this chakra (if there is one) and what is it's function said to be?

energy blockages

i thought i saw a previous post on here about chakra blockages a couple days ago but i guess i was mistaken.

i feel that all of my energy is very stagnant... and not really moving much...which is why i believe that i myself feel stagnant and un-energetic, and unable to funtion right now.

what are some good methods of clearing energy blockages? i need to get my prana moving again in order to be healthy, happy, and functioning.

I am Aditya ...from the last few months i am on the path of TAPA (burning one self in determination)to make my self more aware ,wanting to inlight,storing the more energy and trying to make myself more stable ...by regular meditating,exersizing,with secred fealing....i am on the path of bramhacharya(no sex not physical nor mental desire or imagination)...well iam not forcelly stoping myself for it but i am more oriented towrds my devine pleasure so its all not bothering me....iam thinking about when my decided period of Tapa will complete then how i deal with this energy?..should i go for the sex with an inlighted girl for getting peace and pleaseure...or i i leave all thing on destiny....or should i get the company of the guru....hay lovely what i do...oum namoh narayanay...namoh narayanay

Tantra means several things. It means "integration", "wholeness", as in integration / wholeness of psychophysical experience, through integrative yogic discipline, and in the Buddhist usage it also means
"primordial pure awareness", specifically the Basis Path and Result of Awareness Yoga. Awareness yoga is in one of two major categories, Atiyoga / Dzogchen / Great Perfection, and Mahamudra / Chagyachenpo / Great Seal.

In each of these three sets of terms, the first term is Sanskrit, the second is Tibetan, and the third is an English language approximation. In either Buddhist system, the basic idea is that Basis = Path = Result, or
Basis Buddha = Path Buddha = Result Buddha.

Basis Buddha is you, specifically your own primordially pure awareness, or mine for that matter, which is temporarily obstructed or limited, resulting in a lower energy, divided state of awareness. But the original pure awareness within each individual is never lost nor can it be destroyed, even by physical death.

From one perspective, the teacher known as Guru Sakyamuni Buddha developed or realized his own pure Buddha nature over a period of one thousand lifetimes, with five hundred "impure" lifetimes and five hundred pure lifetimes.

This resulted in an extraordinary event which is the refounding of Buddhist yoga in the current world age. The current founder Buddha Guru Sakyamuni Buddha manifested three defining attributes
1) wholeness and completeness of awareness
2) wholeness and completeness of compassion
3) wholeness and completeness of power, meaning spiritual power.

You asked about spiritual power, so I will give you a concrete, specific historical act of power manifested by Guru Sakyamuni Buddha.

Once, about twenty five hundred years ago or so, the historical Guru Sakyamuni was attacked by a large, wild, ferocious stampeding elephant. This elephant was specifically provoked by Guru Sakyamuni's cousin Devadatta in hopes of killing Guru Sakyamuni.

The elephant was charging straight towards Sakyamuni, and as I understand matters, some people nearby were trying to flee, since a raging elephant is a powerful and unpredictable force, that might turn in any direction.

Guru Sakyamuni saw the elephant charge straight towards him, and he just stood there. This was not because he was lacking attentiveness, nor because he was frozen with fear. He was standing there to address a problem, not only for himself, but for others present.

So, the elephant is making a straight line for Guru Sakyamuni, and Sakyamuni is standing there for a long moment considering the elephant. Then Sakyamuni raises his right hand palm forward in the Abhaya hasta mudra, the Sacred Hand Gesture of Fearlessness. Then the crazed elephant stops dead in its tracks right in front of Guru Sakyamuni, becomes completely calm, and the problem is solved.

Now in Honolulu Hawaii, it took a lot of effort to stop a rampaging elephant that was tearing up a main downtown avenue some twelve years back. It took a lot of firepower to bring that elephant down, to cripple and kill it.

But to all appearances, all that Guru Sakaymuni did when he was attacked, was to make a simple hand gesture, and the huge and dangerous problem was resolved in the space of one breath.

This is a definite expression of spiritual power, of the power of a great mystic and yogi and indeed a true Buddha. It's not a magic trick nor any kind of swindle nor rumor of what may have happened. It is simply put, a direct manifestation of jnana ( wisdom ) karuna ( compassion ) and bala ( power ).

The overall tradition of Buddhist yoga remains alive today, at varying levels of effectiveness and completeness. Great acts of power have been performed over the centuries since Guru Sakyamuni originally taught. I myself have seen and experienced some real acts of power in the Buddhist tradition, as well as in some other traditions.

For example, I once saw a native American bring a lame woman to ( begin to ) walk in one very short healing session, back in 1983. She actually was beginning to lift her legs. The teacher, Rolling Thunder, said
"I did not expect this to happen in one session. I thought it would take three sessions. I did not perform this healing. It wasn't me. You healed yourself."

So here is the real teaching on wisdom compassion and power: wisdom compassion and power are already within us. That is the core meaning of tantra in the Buddhist tradition. There is an equally important core meaning known as Lineage and Transmission, which means connecting with an authentic guru and receiving abhisekha, or transmission/ empowerment. And also there is samaya, which means maintaining the sacred connection, through ethics and self-reflection.

In the mid 1980s Buddhist tantra saved my life, through a series of major transmission cycles and several million mantra recitations, and so forth. The abhisekha/ transmissions were mainly from
- HE Luding Khen Rinbochay ( the principal Sakya Tibetan Ngor lineage holder )
- HH Kalu Rinbochay ( the principal Shangpa Kagyu Tibetan lineage holder ) and
- HH Chetsang Tulku Rinbochay, one of the two principal Drikung Kagyu Tibetan lineage holders
- Longchen Nyingtik Breakthrough from Ven. Lama Terton Sogyal Tulku ( Nyingma, Rigpa Fellowship ).

This includes three primary cycles of transmission from HH Kalu Rinbochay.

I was therefore able to receive power, healing and purification, and so able to develop some power, healing, and complete some purification, when these were most needed to save my own life.

There was no way a western muggle doctor or shrink could address the kind of problem I faced, which in retrospect seemed about as easy to handle as a wild charging elephant. So I didn't talk to any. I took the medicine of Buddha Dharma, the Discipline of Awareness.

I have never believed in "faith healing." When I was very young, a little girl died because her parents provided her only Christian faith healing. She had appendicitis and her abdomen ruptured. Over forty years later, I still do not believe in faith healing, certainly not as the muggles do.

But there is spiritual power, there is yoga, and there is healing. At least, these are present as possibilities.

I myself am a medical yogi, an inner medical tantrika. I took my final exams over twenty years ago. In all that time, I have never believed in a personal creator God, nor in faith healing, nor really in any of what the yogically illiterate call "religion".

I don't have a personal religious belief to espouse. I study and practice yoga, mainly Buddhist tantra, along with a large set of related and similar practices from across Asia, plus various protocols for high level wellness from all over, including Native American teachings.

There are many many classical and and traditional practices that really work. My own experience is that the tantra - considered in the broader sense - is the deepest and most powerful and most broadly acting spiritual discipline. A lot of it has to do with breathing techniques ( pranayama ) and visualization, based on lineage transmission and sacred commitments as mentioned earlier.

For general purposes, these are two books I have been recommending to many here and there over the years. They are both very accessible and together provide a good foundation for further study in more technical areas of Buddhist tantra. ( My own core Buddhist stack of books and materials and sadhanas and notes is over sixteen feet tall, but you don't need more than a small functional set of teachings and transmissions and texts to engage this path. )

I am really thankful for the efforts of these two Buddhist gurus, as well as many others ( over sixty Buddhist gurus in fact ). I have benefited greatly thereby. Perhaps you can too. It's mostly about doing your homework, it's mostly about effective yoga sadhana.

It's mostly about awareness and responsibility and caring enough. . . and prioritizing what matters in the long term.

Opening a Chakra

Hi, I'm new in this area, so any thoughts on this issue are very welcome.

Last year I wrote a poem and when I finished it I read it a few times to myself. I started getting a stabbing feeling in my chest...in the area of the solar plexus and then the feeling changed to a scraping feel after a few days. That scraping feeling stayed around for a few months and then it transformed into a smooth and serene feel. Did I open the solar plexus chakra? And is it common for people to open the solar plexus chakra by reading or chanting lines?

The poem was quite intense and dark. In a way, I feel the poem worked as a knife to stab me. The poem is titled 'bleed the love'. I feel the poem had a destructive force, but a force that worked for the good of me...to open up things inside me. The poem also has a spiritual dimension too...dark energy.

It has been a year since the initial scraping feeling. I have changed as a person and feel I have grown and my heart is more open.

dolphins/ other shapes entering field of view? has anyone had any experience like this?

I was at a festival in Long Beach, CA and was talking to a lady who recently started having dolphins shapes entering her vision. She said that they were not in color, but black or shadowed.

It was strange, because she was the only other person I have ever heard about this happening to, other than myself.

Mine are usually blue colored, sometimes shadowed. It is not always a dolphin, usually unrecognizable shapes. It comes into view for four or five seconds, then fade out.

It is really inconsequential, and happens at random times. I cannot make them appear by will, and although they are not always dolphins, recognizable shapes sometime appear.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Has this happened to anyone else? or would anyone like to hear more about it?

Tuning Chakras with color

our Captain has graciously put up a new banner image made by Michael Parisi of a thirteen chakra layout.

If you meditate on it, you'll realize that this distribution, this 'tuning' of the chakras leaves a red root, and a 'yellow' heart.

I have found after about two years of working with this approach, that it is possible to change the natural color of the chakras, within a range of influence. the results are... interesting.

With the red root, and the yellow heart, I find that the love is fiercer and raw. The love that tears things down because it is time to change them. the love that will end relationships, jobs and homes because love knows it has a clearer place to live and thrive.

Love always does this, but with a consciously yellow heart, it seems to be... more raw and fierce.

After a while of working like this, I am more consistently tuning my root to orange, and my heart then becomes green.

I do not believe there is a 'fixed' color for each chakra. with the standard new age way of putting the root as red, and the heart as green, the distribution is stretched out. In my experience this has functioned to SLOW THINGS DOWN.

As we all learn about the chakras as a culture, it has been appropriate to keep it with breaks on so to speak. When you allow this shift... it flows more freely.

with the root orange, some interesting things happen.

first of all, to be raw about it... there is a desire to leave 'fucking' It isn't a judgement, its a vibration. The higher fibe (higher doesn't equal beetter, just higher frequency) changes things.

so the result has been mixed. For periods my sex life has shut down almost completely. and then when it turns on, it is full of much more intense orgasms, that come from much LESS intense 'work'. Namely, less is more. By being intune with more subtle vibrations, the energy body is able to let more energy in, and out.

Its worth it : )

It does require you to be willing to abstain from sex for periods however, becuase the changes can get a little wild. basically, be gentle. meditate with the color orange in the root, and an orange yellow 'fire' in the pelvis.

Pain in crown chakra...help

Hello - I am hoping this is the right place for my question. If not, please feel free to suggest alternate options, I am definitely open to ideas.

I have persistent pain in my Third Eye/Crown chakra. I have had it for about three years. All physical causes have been ruled out. I am now looking at possible metaphysical causes and a friend suggested possible chakra cleansing/healing/training as a solution.

I know that it hurts most when I am stressed, tired, or tense. I know that I am very empathetic to others' emotions and that the pain increases when I am around others who are experiencing strong emotions. I have had at least one healer tell me that I need to get better at "shutting out the pain of others because I suck it in like a vacuum through my third eye" or something to that effect.

It hurts almost constantly and can be exacerbated by physical ills (i.e., cold, tension headache, toothache, etc). I know that when I meditate with direct focus on that spot it actually tends to hurt worse, but when I apply pressure to it or massage the area it is effective temporarily at relieving the pain.

I am just now considering the idea of chakras and I know very little about it but am extremely open to new solutions at this point, having been failed miserably by Western medicine I am trying new paths, so any help you can offer is gratefully accepted.

Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

Stress related pain w/3rd Chakra

indecisiveness

Hi y'all- I am writing this in the hopes of getting some input into my seeming inability to move forward with my life- I know from my own work with my chakras and so forth thats there is a lot of wisdom there- and that when I have done work, part around my second chakra- that I have somehow been able to move forward without a lot of effort even. I seem tso be stuck in fear- I kind of want to do this- then this- maybe this. Its crazy and as well as driving everyone else crazy I am also looking a bit mad. I do have things on the go so maybe I should just do whats in front of me. Its just that my indecisiveness is maddening and I feel like people laugh at me a bit because I go around in circles- al of this energy and no where to put it- I don't want that to be my epitaph. Right Any ideas????

I know this sounds like science fiction or a conspiracy theory, but it's not. It is a complete reality and a huge danger to humanity. Please check out the following petition and sign it. As crazy as this may sound but mind control energy weapons is a reality. Millions of people are suffering from the mental abuse and torture of these weapons that are not openely talked about or known, or "declassified." When we pay attention to the way we feel, and then choose thoughts that feel the very best, we manage our own vibration, which means we are controlling our own point of attraction - which means we are creating our own reality.

The less attention we give to everybody else's reality, the purer our vibration is going to be - and the more we are going to be pleased with what comes to us.

How do we give attention to other people's reality? Sometimes by watching the TV and reading the newspaper. By the books we choose to read. The people we associate with a lot. Our vibration is often the average of the five people we associate with the most!

So for today I choose to pay attention to the way I feel, and listen to that inner guidance to discern which thoughts bring me closer to joy and which ones lead me away!

I was contemplating this chakra today especially in the scope of 'influence' so to speak. Especially when talking about 'survival' where do our hunter gatherer urges go, is this where our tenancy of collection of needless materialistic things? Is the willingness to stay in one spot (so to speak) and wait it out a function? I know that is a really vague statement and can cover all manner of things. If I wait around 'it' will be better or something better will come along? Or how people jealously guard their position or possessions. What exactly governs our 'survival' in our society?

I was thinking of constructing some meditations to use in regards to this. Lam is its bija mantra so usually I will sing a few repetitions when working with this chakra but I was also thinking of what to do about the Deities of the Chakra. In this case its Bramha and the energetic factor is Dakini.

I went to go look for something, a mantra or more information regarding Dakini, but I haven't found much of anything so far. The only other thing that came to mind to further explore this was to concentrate on the yoga corispondance which would be the bridge pose. Any suggestions? Comments? Ideas?

How do you remove someone elses energy from your crown? Everytime I open my crown i get the very strong presence of a local yogi whom I dont really I know or trust. I dont want to become a weirdo (may be to late) nor do I want to get into the whole "have to protect my energy" etc., kind of thinking because I just feel that it's weird. HOWEVER: Does anyone know why this may be happpening and how do I remove it? I HAve done exhaustive chord cutting but it does not seem to be working. It makes me feel quite powerless- like I dont have any control over who enters my space and so forth. That I am somehow a victim of others ill intentions. maybe thats the belief that needs to be destroyed. You know??Oh lord!! A pandoras box is what I have opened!!!

To simplify the complexity of the
controversy, I will give this example. Bill
Moyers of the Public Broadcasting System
did a show named Trade Secrets and has
created a web page of the same name
(26). There is to much documentation
there to list, in regard to "industry"
covering up the damage to OUR HEALTH
from toxic chemicals, for over fifty years
(26).

Bill Moyers was tested for over 800 toxic
chemicals and over 80 chemicals (at
various levels of exposure) were found, in
him. That presents the potential for more
viable chemicals reaction variations than
the pick six lottery in one patient from the
perspective of Low Dose Cumulative
Effects of Toxic Chemical's ! But
regardless of this, many of the "tolerable
levels of exposure" to a (singular) toxic
chemical have been fraudulently produced
for decades (81).

Current events on this topic of "The Toxic Lotto" that
revolves around the "Toxic Soup" that all of us live in

"Cumulative Impacts".

Just as toxic chemicals can multiply in their toxicity
when mixed, so can infectious agents increase in their
pathogenic impact. And the the two (toxic chemicals
and infectious agents) usually work in a synergistic

It is suspected that
Camp Mandalay of the Bohemian Grove
might very well have "inside knowledge" that
other members of the Bohemian Grove are not
aware of.

Many camps in the Bohemian Grove contain very
prestigious visitors. You have camps like Cave Man,
Hideaway, Hill Billies, Hillside, Isle of Aves, Lost
Angels, Mandalay, Midway, Owl's Nest,
Sempervirens, Silverado Squatters, and Stowaway.
Mandalay seems to be the camp for international
relations and consists of many members officially or
otherwise connected to the intelligence agencies.
Mandalay is the only camp you cannot just walk into
and before you are allowed on the compound
someone will ask you who you have an appointment
with. If you're cleared for access, you are taken up the
hill with a Bechtel-designed electric pulley. Many
members of camps like Hill Billies or Stowaway
(Rockefellers and Morgans) have been to Mandalay at

It is believed that camp Mandalay was central to

"Project Paper Clip" (that gave Nazi scientists
new identities and continued their research on

I am all for telling the other members of the
Bohemian Grove what camp Mandalay has been
up to with the Non-Lethal Biological
Weapons known as Incapacitating Agents,

some of the deceased and their causes of death. Such as
John Du Pont (now deceased) of whom was diagnosed as
"insane". He was heir to the Du Pont chemical empire.
Ralph Bailey was a member of Camp Mandalay and Vice-Chairman
of Du Pont Chemical Company. John Du Pont (heir to the Du Pont
fortune) was a member of the "Isle of Aves" Camp.
John Du Pont was not a member of the Mandalay Camp.

I'll get back to that angle, after I clarify a few points....... Maybe
you could ask Mary Moore and Peter Phillips what they think about this ?

The elite of our society (The Bohemian Grove
crowd) can get caught up and effected by this "Toxic Lotto", too.
Only they have the money (cash) or a different type of health
insurance, that enables them to get properly evaluated at
clinics like the
Environmental Health Center-Dallas

I'll clarify a key point. A peer reviewed medical
journal has shown that the majority of mental
illness is due to toxic chemical exposures
and is not as genetic as they had thought.

White Dakini Drub Chen. For the first time in the West a Drub Chen (Great Accomplishment Ceremony) of the White Dakini ( White Goddess ) practice from Do Khyentse’s Dzinpa Rangdröl (Self-Liberation from Fixation) treasure cycle will be performed. "The Vajra Armor Mantra (Tib. Dorje Go-Drab), is among the most powerful healing practices in Tantric Buddhism. Tuning

I've been working a fair bit with 'tuning' the chakras. this involves getting them to resonate in relation to each other, in a way that is balanced.

The amazing thing about wavelengths is they work in harmonious patterns whether they are expressed in light, sound, liquid, chi... or any other form. The core principal is their relationship to each other. when wavelengths vibrate at different frequuencies, they are literally 'crossing' each other, at different rates.

The two most powerful relationships are fairly straightforward. 2:3 and 2:4 (1:2) when a wavelength is double another wavelength, it is, in sound, one octave above the original one. It is termed the same 'note' a D, and a higher D. Then double the higher one... and you still ahve a D!

the 2:3 ratio is really interesting because it is the half way mark to the next octave up. Thus 'notes' that are in this ration sound really good together. This is why music works as it works - almost every chord that is comonly used in western music relies on the 2:3 ratio, and then builds on top of it.

so the same thing works in our bodies. the idea that each chakra is naturally tuned to one frequency is... quyestionable. Try tuning your own chakras to each other, through intent. Then intend to change the frequency, and feel what happens..

Confused: Chakra opening / awakening / activating ?

What do people mean for chakra opening? Is it analogous to awakening? And what about activating?

What are the symptoms of the three?

I suppose that the systems one follows might have different meanings to them... In that case, it is within a Kundalini Yoga system what i would like to be informed.

Heart Chakras opening all over the world?

Panoraminx wrote about almost the exact thing that is happening to me. I feel a huge heart opening feeling all over my life these days. I wonder if it is going on with lots of people. I am all of a sudden looking around and seeing people who are really shut down energeticly and wonder why they are not feeling this. LA is a really hard town in some ways and I now know many people whose hearts feel " safe" to be around. I don't think it's just me. I think a lot of us are looking for answers. Do chakras open for many people in the same time or is it more individual? I have yet discovered a book that nails this phenomena ( maybe I need to write it). BArack being president has helped a lot for me. I think I am also working on my throat chakra opening. Any feedback is much appriciated.

Hello,

I had a few questions for you.

The first being that I know of issues with chakras, and how to balance them but this isn't my first question.

This question can be "Have any of you used the Chakra Balancing Kit and found it effective?"

I'm working through this journal right now, being on chakra 6. It took me months if not years btw, to get this far.

Another question I have searched for on this tribe and felt a need to ask is, "Does your brain feel like its on fire when your kundalini awakens?"

Have any of you guys experienced searing others with your energy field, even those who don't even know about this stuff let alone dabble in metaphysics, or paganism or whatever we're interested in?

I swear, I can't hide this anymore. There are many people far more knowledgeable than me. I'm simply trying to cope with self-doubt at the moment.

Anybody beat this?

The merits of performing severe tapas, millions of japa and devata pujana are attain by just feeding a hungry person. The person who feeds the needy is like a person who gave them life.

Every single anna (rice ) contain in the food given to the poor and the needy will destroy the sin done in one birth!

The vedaas hail anna (food) as the form of Brahman as it’s the source of life. ( annam bramhethi vyajaanaat)This can be seen in thaitiriya Upanishad

Gaja duraga sahasram gokulam koti daanam

Kanakha rajata paatram medhini sakharantham

Upaya kula vishuddham koti kanya pradaanam

Nahi nahi bahu daanam annadaanam samaapa

The merit obtained by doing one single annadaana cannot be compared even to the daana phala of thousand elephants, horses and cattels, by giving a way thousands of gifts made of gold and silver, by giving the whole land and sea on earth, by conducting kanya daana (wedding) for 1 crore kanyas.

This shows the greatness of annadaana.

Annadaana is a very important part in mantra purascarana . where one has to perform dashamsa homa, dashamsa tarpana and dashamsa annadaana. Without annadaana mantra siddhi is not achieveable and the purascarana is incomplete.the whole benefit of the mantra siddhi is obtained through this annadaana. The reason behind this is, annadaana removes the shortcomings in the purascarana karma and makes it complete.it removes the bakti lobha, mantra lobha and kriya lobha.. And bestows perfection.

Our guruji always say “…. If u ask me whether a person who has done millions of japa and did severe tapas is higher or the person who has fed 100 people in his lifetime….. the answer will be the person who fed the 100 persons”

all the punya phalas promised in the scriptures are attained easily by feeding the poors and the sadhus. Normal persons who don’t know how to do worship, japa etc can get the similar benefit in multiple folds by just feeding the needy and the sadhus.

If u give money to a person he will not be satisfied, if u give gold, vastra etc… still the same…. He will want more…….but he can only eat until his stomach gets full. He himself will say enough and goes home satisfied.

Feeding the sadhus and shiva baktas ia a great blessings for mankind. Its like feeding shiva himself , as they are the human form of shiva. Its very rare to get an opportunity to feed a holy men. If got…. It shouldn’t be missed. Feeding a holy men can remove all our obstacles in life and spiritual path, and it blesses with wisdom. All past karmas are washed away the moment you feed a sadhu. Thats the power of annadaana!

What is going on with me???

Ok so bear with me as I try to explain. I've been doing a lot of Chakra work lately, mostly with toning and singing. I feel like this may be the most powerful way for me to personally work with my own chakras, especially since I believe I have a long history of having an unbalanced throat chakra. Yesterday after I finally let out my feelings to a friend that has bugged me for 2 years (yes I kept my mouth shut for that long), I started to develop a full on head cold. I'm home blowing my nose constantly and I can't help but think it might be related to the work I'm doing. I read briefly in a book that when the throat chakra is being worked on, all the negative stuff can come out in the form of a cold. Any thoughts on this?

Also--my left wrist is killing me. It could literally just be a physical problem because I have been practicing the Mandolin like crazy lately.

hello im new ill keep this short.
please do not chastise me on any errors i have made. my spiritual journey has been a solitary one and i have been
experimenting by myself i have not had any guidance or advice, negative comments will get me worried.
After recently discovering my chakras where real i started to meditate on them and feel them open when i was going to bed.
someone mentioned on a forum about drawing white light through the crown chakra which i did one night, once it came down it
went through all the chakras by itself, almost intelligently cleaning them, a wonderful experiance. I wanted to open my third eye
and be more spiritually aware (hehe careful what you wish for eh)
i did this again another night and i have crystals over my body. i had a big purple one of my brow and i drew the white light
down through my brow again. i noticed a pressure in my head and i had a vision of someone eyes looking at me and then standing
on my head. the next day i woke to find i was in a terrible state. anxiety, fear, depression, spaced out blurry vision. face tingles, crown
tingles, i couldnt sleep without the tv and radio on because faces where comming to me and i could hear people saying things into
my mind even my own thoughts scared me. when i closed my eyes i could see a light display swishing around the top of my head
like a crown of light spinning around the top of my head. over a couple of months this has all subsided bt i still get a pain in the back
of my head at the pineal bit, and occasionally i get face pains when i think about anything spiritual. my journey has halted after this
because of the physical pain associated with it and the fear of being in that place. the fear was a big thing that got me the next day
and onwards after this experence i still get fear now but there are less and less triggers. whilst i was getting better anything like meditation
or anything like that would set it off bad again, even reading spiritual books would make my head hurt although i would say im 95% now.
just wondered on peoples thoughts on this matter as i had a hard time at work and with the doctor over this hehehe.

Sexual revitalisation?

kind of related to what daniel was talking about to do with hip creases...
well i was thinking earlier about sexual energy and how it is necessary for us.
and i thought about what somebody said about teh legs connecting with the chakras at the hip creases and forming like pillars.
well i then considered that the apex of sexual energy, the climax can sometimes cause a lot of energy around these chakras and i considered perhaps this is causing an energy boost,
do you think that this sexual energy is helping like a water wheel to draw extra energy intop the body in a different way?
perhaps this may mean that our sexual energy is almost like a spiritual equivalent to our digestive systems?
what do you think about this?

Third Eye Activity

I have been having third eye activity that appears like spinning. The "eye" projects and there appears to be electrons circling around it. It is a golden hue and electric.

It simply started acting up that way. There also appeared to be a gateway right into the ceiling - I was lying down when this happened - that appeared to open into bottomless space. It felt that way.

I have heard of people's third eye opening and appearing blue but the projection and electron is new.
It does not appear to be part of any tradition.

I am very psychic and always catch a lot of action going around in various guise and have always perceived the astral in the past. Not the lower lower but the gray variety.

Avalokitesvara is a primary and pre-eminent deity and practice for Buddhists worldwide. This is consistent with my experience in Japanese, Chinese, Tibetan, and Vietnamese traditions. Apparently there is a book on Avalokita practice in the Sri Lankan traditions, which are mostly Theravadin Buddhist.

Avalokitesvara is without doubt the most well known Buddhist ( or other ) esoteric spiritual practice in the West ( either as "OM MANI PADME HUM" or as the "Heart Sutra" or as other variants, see below ).
Many tens of millions of Buddhists recite daily either a Sanksrit formula for Avalokitesvara or a meditation text associated with this deity, as in (1) and (2) following.

Energy Vortex/Magnet/Blackhole?

After meditation I am full of energy and very peaceful. I am in the body and yet I know the body is not me. I feel very powerful, focused and aware.

But I have to ground myself soon to be normal and be at work, otherwise I can be phased out as my third eye spot keeps fluttering at work and wants me to go back and meditate.

When I ground myself, the energy is rushed into my forehead (third eye spot) and sometimes to the saharsara. Like being pulled into a vortex or blackhole that has been placed on my third eye spot or crown chakra.

I get low level orgasmic pleasure during this experience. This happens during meditation too.

What is this?

All the gods I have faith in start disappearing when this experience begins. And I am left all alone with no support. Its somewhat like fainting or death.

Sometimes I wish to get annihilated completely when this happens. But soon I realise its a desire and I leave myself in the hands of God.

Are things going right way? I need some encouragement. Thanks :)

Is the new animation Battle For Terra going to be heartfelt? I hear the themes (without being preachy) are social tolerance, celebrating life, living in peace and harmony, respecting others, other species, and the earth, etc.

The film won the "Crystal Heart Vision" award for 'excellence in film' making at the Heartland Film festival which honors films that empower the human journey and express hope, respect and positive values of life. Because of this, I'm thinking there is way more to it than just awesome animation and an all-star cast. *fingers crossed*

I know that some people to like to argue the fact that putting 'green' and 'spiritual' messages in films isn't effective, because making movies isn't a 'green' act in itself. I tend to disagree wholeheartedly, because art (including film) is always going to be around (thank goodness) - and I believe that making films with new twists and positive messages is much more effective than recycling a bottle (though I do practice green living).

My thought is: yes, what I do matters, but when someone does something that puts a large message out to the world that affects thousands, well, that's a whole other level. :)

to balance my chakras, where do I begin when everything is screwed up?

a few weeks ago I decided to sign up for a chakra class. By random extra time allotment...we were able to receive chakra readings from our teacher.
Chakra means "wheel" in sanskrit...which would lend an interpretation of a circular movement...if aligned.
All of them, with the exception of one...was either moving back and forth...forward and back or was still and violently vibrating...in short....I'm all screwed up.
The teacher did the reading...and with her "fishing", as the pendulum felt like it was entering my auric body like a plug and then lifting up for the reading....stirred up memories that could be the root to the blockages.
So it is all in my face again...
now what?
the way of the teaching...is that I should hold a specific stone...say a mantra...or do a yogic pose...my short coming is my mind. It says I am not "doing" anything.
And yet around me I am manifesting a different path...still, I feel so lost. And so humble to see it out of my control, I hold onto the wish for something new...while fearing the unknown.

What the hell happened!?

Something happened last night and the only explanation I can come up with is the opening of my Crown Chakra.
I ate somewhere around 2 grams of dried cubensis mushrooms at ~9:45 pm. The experience was pretty mundane, even at the peak. That is, until I went outside and smoked a joint. I wasn't completely out of my head but it was pretty intense. I lay down and listened to music with the lights turned off and enjoyed the CEVs for a while. During this, I played a song of a Native American Lipan and I began to hear whispering and sounds that weren't there. I decided to turn down the music more, turn on my fan and meditate a bit. This is where it gets odd.

I normally meditate for about 20 minutes a day. No, it's not guided meditation. It's my means of feeling connected- I know of the chakras, have studied them in the past and have just used that general ideal to get myself more connected with my emotions, my surroundings, other people and "The wholeness." Just as I lay down after turning on the fan, I go into this state. It was like complete and utter clarity. Every sound around me became absolutely crystal clear; like I had removed ear muffs. I concentrated on this clarity and euphoria set in. I started smiling and feeling completely fulfilled in my body. Pure ecstasy and love. I literally felt like I was shedding my skin, starting from the front half of my body and pulling back. The "Shedding" feeling was almost gone and I started to feel a pressure on the top of my head. It almost felt like my skull was splitting from the top of my head and it was pushing down, toward my forehead. It was an extremely slow progression. For some reason, I felt like I needed it. As if it were supposed to happen. I could have stopped it at any time but I didn't. After about five minutes, this pressure eventually made its way to the top of my forehead, right at my hairline... Then, I broke my concentration.

The euphoria stayed a bit longer but the pressure completely left. Today, I've attempted feeling that "Clarity" in sobriety and I've been able to do it a few times, sans "Shedding" feeling. It's like a complete clearing of the mind and really SEEING things for the first time, like I'm truly connected.

Yes, it might have just been the mushrooms but who knows? Any feedback or info would be awesome. I'm actually pretty confused about what the hell happened and how this might correlate to other experiences.

Downward pressure on the crown chakra

Has anyone had the experience of feeling downward pressure on the Crown chakra? Sometimes this feels like someone pushing down from above against a membrane, and other times it feels like a light tickle on the scalp. It is occasionally connected with a simultaneous feeling of pressure on the Brow chakra.

bad dreams

so weve all had bad dreams...but when each dream every night has the same theme...its starting to bother me.

my biggest heartbreak and emotional strain in me is chldren...i absolutely can not stand seeing a child hurt or someone that does it....

it all started with a dream where a man was using everyone's greatest fear or hurt against them..he looked at me, grinned and a baby appeared and he was trying to kill him, in the process of me protecting the baby the second before his blade sliced thru my body..i woke up...
ever since that night, i keep having dreams with the sam epattern. last night it was this evil man taking over the world hanging ppl who didnt follow him...he even hung my family in front of my eyes, i went on to have a miscarriage in this dream and adopted a child of asian descent..following that i was again, protecting the child from him killing the baby.....

this k eeps happening every night,a dream with the same theme..evil guy who wants to hurt/kill kids and me protecting them. i never actually die in the dream but its always right their at the brink of my death before i wake up.

this is very discerning to me. meditation slightly helps...only by making the dream wait till about 6 in the morning to wake me up instead of 2 in the morning...it jus tkeeps happening and i cant help but feel like their is some meaning behind this.

to go along with this..and this is pesonal...i have not had a period in months..im on very hardcore birth control which is causing this...and for wahtever reason when these dreams started, right around the same time i started my first period in a very long time and its a heavy one. i do feel it some how..ties in...after all periods are obviously linked to fertility and child birth

Kundalini or Possession?

I just noticed it recently.

I started meditation 2 years ago when I had this dream. I went inside my self in the dream. My hearing and vision turned inwards with a loud OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO as in OM.

I was looking at a 'Golden Disc' inside my forehead. It was like Sun you see behind the clouds... not too bright to hurt the eyes. But cool like Moon. The background was Red/Orange.

During meditation the dent area starts vibrating/pulsating. The energy is sometimes forced to this area as if the dent will crack open. Sometimes to the heart... to the neck... to the stomach... anus...

My eyes move upwards by themeselves as if they will turn back inside the head. But I don't see anything... just darkness.

I can meditate for hours and do not feel hunger or anything unless I return to the normal state (of mind).

Its been going on for many months now.

Is this normal Kundalini procedure or am I possessed by someone?

Blue sphere when I close my eyes.. Expert advice wanted

I have a couple questions about what I presume to be my third eye.

does anyone know what it means to close your eyes and see color flowing like clouds or waves?
About 6 months ago, it started. I would close my eyes and a purple cloud/ wave would start flowing in my mind. It was where i used to see black with my eyes closed.

I has gotten greater( really no word to explain it, vivid?) to the point where it is certain shades of blue. Every now and then the is a ranbow that makes its way by, but most just a blue/ white mix. I think that it has something to do with my third eye.

At times it will give me headaches, and often i cannot stop it even if I want. I can just look past it, but my mind often gets distracted and looks at the color. Thee are also points of light that appear as blue or white blips, usually in the same places.

My question is about a blu/ white orb. When i can meditate and get really calm, It all comes together to shape a blue orb in m vision. This is weird because usually it flashes really quickly and makes no descernable images, but the sphere is most certainly there.
When this happens, The colors dont flicker violently like they normally do. It all seems calm, like I have enter the eye of a storm and it has winds all around it.

I dont know what it is, so any and all ideas are most certainly welcome.

I'm thinking it is something about the 3rd eye, being that violet is its color and it appears in my vision.

I had problems with depression and anxiety and i worked through all my issues and been pretty damn healthy for a long while.
all of a sudden i walked out of my room last night and as i passed through my door, I felt like i had been poisoned.
a feeling in my chest opposite my heart, it was like i had been bitten in the chest by some invisible snake or something.
i thought it was perhaps because i had a stressful day so i tried to shrug it off but i had a very restless night and i felt quite anxious. just tonight i have been feeling calmer and been feeling like i getting ok again. now suddenly as i walked out my room again, just the same as last night i got that feeling.
i feel like this is something that has been caused by something outside myself.
I've been trying to figure out the terrible feeling i had before. this is the same feeling i had when i was terribly depressed, but there was no real reason to get terribly depressed before, I always thought it was pretty odd, now i am thinking that somehow this poison kind of thing had made me think depressing thoughts and that is the real reason for my past problem.

this poisoned feeling... I think i could perhaps clarify it as being like a feeling of dread.
I don't know... I feel like this feeling is very dangerous and could ruin my life if i give it my attention.

i am also a belly dancer and believe some movements can help to open your chakra's and balance them together.

over all im a very spiritual woman and i find it odd for anyone that is spiritual to deny the energy around us, including our very own

meditation and lethargy.

i was recently told my root chakra was in need of some work..
i moved away from my hometown aprox 1 year ago and i do have
security issues. and i dont really know my place in the world..
i never had any sort of relationship with my mother growing up.
i have problems over eating and i understand they are all connected.
i did a meditation to help this a couple days ago for the first time as instructed by a friend.
afterwards - not straight after.. maybe afew hours
i felt exhausted. my lower back, legs especially, and feet felt so tired
it was almost flu-like lethargy i didnt feel so great either. not really sick or anything. just exhausted
i slept almost a whole day then felt fine.
was this considered normal?
or was this unrelated symptoms of something else.?

because i did the same meditation again the next day and it didnt make me feel that way again.
i was just wondering as i dont know much about this topic.
any comments would be much appreciated!

Heart Chakra

My partner (of eight years) and I are breaking up and since Monday, when we've come to this decision, I feel like there is a literal black hole in the place of my heart chakra and that the chakra is just ripped open and all of the energy and power that should be there is just oozing out (that which is not devoured by the black hole).

Any suggestions? I've just scheduled a reiki session. I have to figure out how to "plug" the hole or mend it because it literally hurts because of the amount of energy that is being transferred through it and nothing is staying there.

Chakra Cycles

I just listened to a session with Bashar from about 15 years ago..

He talks about chakra cycles in our development and explained the following idea:

Our lives develop in 7 year cycles in tune with the progression of the chakras. There are 2 sets of cycles, a large 7 year cycle for each of the chakras and then a repeat of the progression again within that cycle, each chakra taking up 1 year.

i.e.

Birth - 7th Birthday - Foundation cycle - Red
Within that cycle:

Birth to 1st birthday - Foundation cycle - Red
1st Birthday to 2nd Birthday - Emotional cycle - Yellow
2nd Birthday to 3rd Birthday - Intentional cycle - Orange
3rd Birthday to 4th Birthday - Love cycle - Green
4th Birthday to 5th Birthday - Expression cycle - light blue
5th Birthday to 6th Birthday - Psychic cycle - Indigo
6th Birthday to 7th Birthday - Divine cycle - Violet

And then it begins again for the next 7 years, this time with a major cycle focus on Emotion - Yellow.

This continues until the 49th Birthday, when the 'schooling' is complete and a new expression and experience begins.

I mapped out my own life against this template and was really, REALLY amazed!

Try it! I'd love to hear your experiences.

Right now I am in the third year (intentional) of my 5th cycle (expression)... What am I doing? Preparing and planning a book and also designing my first album!!

When does this major expression cycle end for me?

2012. With divine expression.
2013 is psychic foundation. ..

I knew this was the map of my future roughly anyway, but to see it in such absolute terms is AMAZING!

A scientifically measurable biochemical essence Kundalini is the substance that is the nourishment of consciousness. It could bridge the gap between science and mysticism and show the essential truth of religious experience and tradition. Religion has always been a companion of humanity. Religion came to guide humanity. No scientist could doubt the reality of this phenomenon once it has been observed and measured.. Such an experiment would uncover the vale of darkness and delusion under which humanity has been living. This evolutionary force needs publicity and actual proof would provide it. It is only from an awakened perspective that such observation can be made and this potential lies within everyone. These laws as spoken of in all religions occult and mystical beliefs describe a path to enlightenment. As great empires have come and gone, so too must humanity’s faiths change.

My teacher, the late Pundit Gopi Krishna, an Indian Yogi-scientist and world renowned expert of Kundalini who has written over twenty books on the subject states, “We all know what happened whenever a political system became despotic and oppressive, a social system exacting and corrupt, and a religious system excessively authoritarian and dogmatic. There arose a demand for revision and reform. Political revolutionaries, reformers and prophets appeared on the scene, The old system was overthrown often with dreadful bloodshed, suffering and pain and a new one installed in its place. We have to cooperate with inner evolution.”

What is needed for a more positive harmonic peaceful and prosperous existence is a fuller understanding of humanity’s need for god. As society accelerates the brain must work increasingly beyond the point of balance. We are giants of intellect and dwarfs of the spiritual. We give no time to the spirit. Bringing on grave consequences. Gopi Krishna says. “ We have given too much emphasis to the material side of life at the cost of the spiritual side.” Time must be set aside for prayer, meditation, yoga or some other spiritual act in order to keep life’s evolutionary needs in balance and maintain inner sanity. Yoga meditation provides a channel for the opening of a powerful energy (inspiration) which can enable anyone to blossom into a genius, an artist, a poet, a mystic.

If this force awakens in an impure or out of balance form it can result in evil genius fanaticism delusions of grandeur, or mental illness (like manic depression and schizophrenia). There is a lot that is not understood that kundalini research will explain.

The brain is subject to the influence of countless factors connected with the life environment and the family history of an individual. When even slightly tainted or stained do to the pressure of reality or various causes such as wrong mode of life, unhealthy environment, faulty heredity, shock, frustration, repression, tension and numerous other factors. If the mind is abnormal the brain too must be a shareholder in the abnormality. There are subtle changes in some neuronic structures in the cranium. The real root of the abnormality is an impure or toxic condition of the prana. If you do not live a disciplined life then the awakening of this center can be unhealthy. A distorted vision of the same power. It means that the system is not pure and that the energy is not working in a healthy way.

There is a positive spiritual energy force within us all. Which has a physical counterpart in the human body that feeds a certain portion of the brain cavity of Brahma. This is a living electricity or intelligent energy that is needed to open the brain. The macrobiological changes and its effect can be observable and scientifically verified. Elevations of consciousness can only occur through the transformation brought by kundalini and by no other agency.

Nature shows compassion to humanity in order to help guide us safely through transgressions. God to me is a universal god that is not tied to any one organized religion. It gives us chance after chance. But when we digress off the path unhealthy results occur. We can not blame nature but ourselves. We have intelligence, we have reason, and we have learning. But if by having everything we ignore it then of course nature has no alternative except to teach us by suffering. Heaven is always merciful and all compassionate.

Great prophets, mystics, inventors, sages and people of genius have come to guide our race towards evolution’s goal. The study of the past will show the common thread within these great men and woman. Study is needed in order to educate us about how life should be led to be more in harmony with the forces of nature, which govern our life. A life of humility – love – purity - truth - moderation and compassion.

But how can we prove kundalini’s effect on the body? We can perform an experiment in a controlled environment. This experiment would take on hundred individuals with a healthy average intellect - normal typical people all with a great urge to awaken with a deep passion for spiritual matters and who are prepared to mold their lives in consort with the spiritual laws. Men and women aged twenty to thirty five. They would be put in a peaceful environment and subjected to various tests over a period of five years or more.

Scientists can observe them as the subjects try to awaken their kundalini. They will awaken to differing degrees. Tests will document the physiological changes that occur and will provide the empirical proof of what happens to the body as the kundalini force is awakened. I hypothesis that there are definitive biological differences in the blood, the cerebrospinal fluid and the composition of the brain matter in its subtle layers. Research on brain mapping. EEG ceg ces and the electricity in the body may show the kundalini force. The brain activity will be increased and its effect will be found all over the body. There will be metabolic processes, which can be measured. There will be physiological changes, which can be measured. This will convince the biologist that this change of the mind of the brain has physiological counter part. The result will start humanity towards a greater understanding of this evolutionary mechanism.

Once it is proved that the potential to awaken lies within everyone and is the most valuable asset we have, people will strive for it. The result on humanity will be comparable to the splitting of the spiritual atom. Instead of releasing a nuclear holocaust it will unleash the beginning of a utopian age, our cosmic destiny that can transform a mortal into an immortal and eternal source of happiness.

The awakening of these energies produces genius in mortal man or woman. Creativity, love and compassion emerge and pathways are opened to a future, awakened humanity. We will become the trailblazers of our own inevitable destiny. A utopian age of peace and harmony will follow. All political and spiritual processes will be developed for the highest good. Individuals will develop their “inner Sun” to the fullest during their lifetime. Kundalini research is part of an evolutionary force that compels us to look for enlightenment as an experience accessible to all. To awaken is the goal nature has set for us.

The time is right for we can use state of the art technology to study the phenomenon. We can study the common thread that lies at the root of all religion mysticism which is to guide humankind’s understanding of evolutionary change The understanding of kundalini is now becoming provable for the first time.

Sigmund Freud in fact understood that the libido is directly responsible for mental imbalances. At some point in time we will discover that all we know can be reduced to the bio-chemical. This center of the brain cavity of Brahma is still undiscovered but could be called the “third eye” or the “philosopher’s stone”. Kundalini will for the first time reveal how energy is supplied to the brain and that it is superintelligent. Freud’s concept about libido is of a psychic energy drawn from the libidinous tendencies in human beings. Which is to say the reproductive energy but only from a psychic point of view. He does not say that it has organic roots. This is what famed psychologist Wilhelm Reich emphasizes that this libido must have roots deep in the biochemical structure of the body.

The sex organs in a state of awakened kundalini produces a vast amount of fluid to feed the newly activated part of the brain. Sexual energy may well be directly connected to a mechanism that is affected by evolutionary advancement. Kundalini is the fundamental bioenergy stored primarily in the sex organs. This basic life force is normally associated with the genitals for simple continuance of the species by providing a sex drive. The tie in to the human sex drive and higher consciousness must be explored. Why do men have ejaculation while asleep or wake up with erect penises. There is a force of nature that needs physical release to be sane.

It is called the “goddess Kundalini” or “Mother Nature” because a mother’s love is similar to the bliss of higher consciousness. Woman have more feelings! Life is part of them - menstruation each month reminds them of that. Soulmates, man-woman have intercourse to prolong the race (children). Plus experience the love, kundalini evolutionary force of completion, happiness and bliss that keeps growing.

Sexual or relaxation exercises may release inner pressure of an over-taxed libido. An evolutionary super-nectar, extraordinary life force feeds the mind, a kissing food of unlimited bliss. The sublimation raising up of sex energy is the basic lever of all spiritual disciplines. But the all-inclusive nature of sex energy is a misnomer. Reproduction is but one of the aspects of the life energy of which the other theater of activity is the brain.

Humanity’s basic needs are for sex, god and a need for prayer to control our environment i.e.. hope within everyone lies the ability to awaken. Humanity needs love to balance our own unbalanced state and give us time to meditate, to control our over-taxed brain. Humanity’s sex drive may well be the only time some people relax from their hectic lifestyles. There is a need to just kick back and enjoy. Sex could be a form of deep meditation and experience between two soul mates. Loves deep blissful passion, kundalini’s purest expression an active prayer one of the most powerful forces in the universe. A positive experience that ends in an explosion of uncontrollable bliss. However for the average person, sex is not a deep meditation but is merely a physical release, a small slice of love’s true potential.

What is needed is that deep magnetism of love - a yin/yang of a universal constant. First came the big bang theory for the creation of the universe, now the love theory of creation states that the universe is a constant - always was here. That pure love magnetism, that yin/yang. Example. Trees love earth. Earth love the sky the sky loves the stars space… Love is consciousness … The universe is male and female and in love with both forces.

Suppression of sexuality out of contempt or hatred of our lower nature is an act of ignorance leading only to atrophy of the sexual system. Celibacy is contrary to nature. Since enlightenment is an evolutionary process with heredity playing an important role stamping the genera of the enlightened so that their biological gains through spiritual disciplines can be passed to their progeny. DNA research will eventually discover the consciousness gene.

Sexual energy has been represented in ancient art and statues by an erect organ. Showing the upward streaming of the reproductive essence that effects the transformation of consciousness.

In order to discover the factual evidence behind consciousness, one must first study kundalini energy and its effects. Scientific proof will free humanity to accept the fact that within everyone lies the temple of god leading to a clear realization of our own divine nature. Man’s incomprehensible inner bliss and oneness with divinity and a way of life that overpowers doing wrong or any other action that goes against this cosmic evolutionary force. The misunderstanding of kundalini has led to environmental decline that seems rooted to ultimate destruction of Planet Earth i.e. ozone layer, burning of rain forests, religious wars and terrorism, rape and murder….

It is one relationship not just to their own kundalini but also towards each other. It is the combination of the two that will lead not only to harmony but also to sharing and ultimately to progress. The appeal especially in these times is kundalini which offers hope promise. There is negative energy (i.e. ours) that can be transformed into positive communal conscience which will try to eradicate feelings of helplessness, negativity, pain and the burden of feeling isolated.

Why are people so selfish? Due to not having an understanding of kundalini. Just desperation, helplessness and power struggles which lead to hurting others and ourselves or apathy both of which have a profound effect on our history and the mood of the energy.

Our goal and objective is to create a paradise on earth. A peaceful co-existence, long lives, greater achievements and more freedom. A utopian society living by the laws uncovered by the experiment. A union with the divine is a sum total of the physical laws of the universe. We are in the process of taking the next evolutionary leap. The new century is here.

The study of what lifestyle would be best to advance ones inner potential is a task that may take eons to complete. With the help of divine grace may we free the veil that covers the eyes of the blind masses. We who have been chosen for this colossal task are the humble instruments of this evolutionary force. There are different methods of Kundalini awakening like Hata yoga,breathing exercises,Tantra,Mantra but most simplest way is shaktipat in Siddha Lineage.Where the Guru who is already awakened and established in His inner self / inner Guru & dually being authorized by His Guru can awaken the Kundalini of the truth seeker,it can be done only when one is totally ready for it with full faith,devotion,surrender,it is Grace of GOD which act through the GURU.GURU acts as a medium here and Grace happens to the seeker.In other methods of Kundalini awakening it may take number of years and a lots of efforts are required and most of time there are possibilities that Kundalini may not awaken and if awakened it may cause serious problems to the seekers.But in Siddha Lineage there is no such problems as Guru is there to take care of all aspects.This system is called Siddha Yoga as it is self proven and the seekers have not to put any shorts of efforts at their own.When the Kundalini is awakened in the seeker IT takes the charge ITSELF and the seekers has to just surrender to IT.After Kundalini awakening when the seeker sits in meditation the kriya(body moments),breathings,bands,mudras and other experiences take places automatically like laughing,weeping,singing,and much more ,it depends up on the nature of seeker and all these activities take place to purify the nervous system and to open all the chakra so that the energy can flow through them with ease. How Much of this are we Making Up?

regarding the discernment (if any) between how much of our experience of things in general (chakras in particular)
are already existing energetic phenomena that we are "discovering"
and how much of our experiences are created or projected by our expectations, imaginings, willed-vizualisation.

As there appear to be many variations of the basic theme of the Chakra-system
and differing systems can be worked/explored by various people...
do you believe that this indicates that such systems are means through which we may choose
to participate in the ordering of our energies by the creation of pattern through which to experience
energies otherwise too subtle or confusing to be perceived?

Is there a basic organic energy-pattern that we access through the filters of our cultural and mental terrain?

types of meditation and how 'pure'

recently i visited a group and they did guided meditation.
I followed through with it and they did a bit where you meet a companion, who turns out to be your innner self.
it was all imagery and imagining a garden etc.

I didn't really feel very different during this, I felt totally in control of all of my faculties and it seemed like a normal imaginary trip. i guess it was interesting in the way i imagined these specific things.. but the companion, my higher self started making jokes. he was making fun of the method and noting how silly and frivelous it all was.
when the person who was guiding us tolod me to hold hands with my companion, he (copanion) just burst out laughing and basically said 'no chance' then went off rampaging trhrough hte vegetation and fooling about in general. he told me that this was all silly and unnecessary. that it was just a game and that there was somthing more pure for me.

actually I did feel like this was useless. I didn't see any benefit from doing this imagination thing, when i usually get information directly. i mean, if i need to ask myself a question, i can usually analyse my own mind pretty effectively. If i get messages from my intuition, I know them immediately without having to translate anything.
I think i just lack practice of somesort. but i am always unsure of how to go about things...
I mean, if i want to ask something specific, instead of just instinctively knowing how to animate an elephant walking, how about i wanted to know something else. something i fetl was important, how can i ask this, and how can i truly recognise teh answer? is it just a matter of learning to listen? learning to quiet my mind and be open?
does anybody relate to my feelings on this meditation?

UTIs and which chakra?

i think its root?

i have a chronic problem with UTIs since i was a child, western medicine is harmful and offers no solution. holistic medicine is a quick fix when i have problems, but there seems to be nothing (short of a mayan massage technique which i havent heard enough about, and something called D-Mannose) that can get to the 'root' of this problem, heh heh.

i know ive had major issues with that chakra, it feels stirred up or odd at times, and i believe it even affects my posture, i.e. with that area, instead of being tensed normally and naturally standing straight it has a tendency to want to sink in.

does anyone have an idea how this is connected with urinary tract infections and/or if theres anything i can do about it?

Grounding and Root Chakra

Some of us may find that we are essentially not grounded. I spent most my life being called space cadet.

In order to correct the habit of spacing off or not being grounded, after the here and now is not always pleasant and we may learn not to be present in our bodies.

If you have long established patterns of such, then creating a room in your head is possible a strong counteraction. To get started.
Sit go into deep breathing and and bring your attention into the room or spaCE. Then bring it into your own head. No thoughts of others or of outside world. Closed eyes. Press below nose. with your finger go over back of head and press where spine ,meets skull, go to tope of head press. go to above right ear press then left ear press. Within this space create a room and fill it with what ever you wish BUT NOTHING from the outside world. Practice being in this space, before meditation and after.

ROOT CHAKRA AND GROUNDING

Sit spine errect, deep slow rythmica;ly breathing for some minutes (meditative state) you can do 4 4 4 4 which is effective = breath in for 4 hold for 4 breath out for 4 be empty for 4. It is the even rythym thats most important,

Go inside and down to the Base of your spine and visualise the root chakra spinning to the right and to the GOOD! See it luminous with light and red like traffic light. spin no matter which way you look at it or what direction you see it TO THE RIGHT AND TO THE GOOD.

NOW throw a ribbon out and watch it travel to the heart of mother earth - connect it strong and secure and and from the room in your head breath up the energy of the earth entering through base of spine. AS YOU B REATH DOWN CALL YOUR BIRTH NAME DOWN TO EARTH.

5 years 4500 members...Yay For Chakra Tribe!

Thanks to Mark Pincus, the founder of tribe, being a friend of mine and so enthusiastically getting me on board in the early days of tribe, this place was created as a little nook in the fabric of the internet.

My perception is that the internet is a tool for accessing the energetic levels of existence. It's one method of astral projection, of transmuting your personal energies into communicable form.

It's like as if the Internets' ability to share information is a training wheels phase for humanity as we evolve into our more complete use of the amazing abilities our design incorporates.

I logged on today and thought to myself ..."WOW for 5 years, thousands of people have been communicating about the chakra system and related topics. There are now 4500 members of this tribe, and while, due to the nature of tribe and the weft and warp of the system, many of those members are now gone or inactive, it's still a prodigious number"

So I wanted to take a moment to CELEBRATE all the sharing and love and help and information and inquiry and storytelling and wisdom and fun and knowledge and spiritual focus that has been going on here for all this time.

Here's to you all , the members of Chakra Tribe, Thank you for all the input you have given this place in order to make it a robust and delicious little corner of the energetic planes.

Did you remember to eat and drink good things?

I have learned recently something that I am still in the process of understanding for myself, that can help many others as well. One of the biggest issues that people have is taking care of themselves properly. I remember when I was much younger than I am today, my father asking my mother quite often if she had eaten today. Usually this occurred when my mother was most upset about something. It never really mattered what my mother was upset with it. It only matter that she was upset, which in turn caused my dad to ask my mom if she had eaten some food that day. The reason he would do that is because he knew that she had a blood sugar problem and a hyper metabolism which would cause her to go into fight or flight mode over the most absurd things.

Our bodies are very complex biological machines. We take in energy and let go of energy all the time, even in our sleep. Like any machine whether it be a car or radio or something even as simple as a teeter tauter, the proper energy has to be applied to allow the machine to be operational. Energy can come in the form of fuel or applied energy, that is to say energy in motion, and various other forms as well. The simple fact is though in order to get a function to occur whether calculated or not there must be energy flowing for movement to happen. This includes thoughts and emotions as well as say picking up a rock and throwing it. Even a whistle upon a persons lips requires a whole lot more energy than what you might actual think it takes to make the sound happen. It takes the food that you put into your body, that comes from a time being spent storing that energy, in the food from the sun to give a person fuel, so the energy synopsis fires correctly to tell your muscles, in your face, to form the correct shape, to perform the whistle, along with the lungs and the muscle designed to move the lungs, to draw in the air, and then push it out again, to make the sound. It also takes the thought and the understanding of how to whistle in order to do it at all. So, when a person says "that looks hard to do", they are in fact correct. To some level everything is hard to do, and it is defiantly much much harder to do what you might consider usually simple, if you do not have the correct energy input to produce the desired output results.

Basically to sum this up, if you do not take care of yourself or your surroundings or the food and water that you need to have in order to properly function you will not be able to do things correctly, let alone anything at all. If you want to do things, enjoy life and live then the only way you or I or anyone things that is living can do this is if the proper fuel rest and care is put into action and applied correctly.

SO, feed yourself and drink fluids take care of your selves dang it!!!

"To thine own self be true" which means be yourself and take care too!!! In order to be true ones self one has to feed the self in a proper meter and measure. JUST DO IT!!!!Become aware of what you actually need, do not over or under do it by making up excuses. Find a way, ask for help, and allow yourself to be healthy!! That is what your body instinctively wants as well as you personally, regardless if you are conscious of it.

Most of the time people unconsciously go through their day hurting themselves, and as a result hurt others and so on , due to some kind of lacking within in their systems. The best way to figure out what you lack is to try to listen and find ways to understand what your body is telling you. Sometimes it is easier to allow someone who can observe you to inform you of what they see, while you are learning to understand your own signals. It's all there and if you create or put yourself in a place that can allow for you to relax enough to really listen to what your signals are you will soon find yourself "in tune with you". It's like tuning in to a radio station, if you do not have electricity or power to operate the radio you will not be able to tune in to the station. If there is no station to broadcast then even if you have the right fuel or radio then there will be no signal to pick up. Since,that is not the issue with our bodies minds or emotions, this lack of broadcast will never come into play, however the lack of the correct fuel or understanding of what the signals are may be a very apparent factor. Good luck with understanding and applying this correctly.

Know that I share this with you all because my wish is to see people happier and healthier, as well as being there with you all. Know that the process takes time and is not an instant gratification thing. Allow yourself kindness as you would offer compassion to a young child who is still learning about their bodies. If you do that for yourself and others as well there will be great improvement for us all.

Sakya transmissions: references and transmissions

This December 2008 a major tantric empowerment cycle of the New School / Mahamudra lineage of vajrayana will be given in Vancouver British Columbia. These are the "Thirteen Golden Dharmas of Sakya", a comprehensive set of transmissions central to the Sakya School of Tibetan Buddhism, to be bestowed by Her Eminence Jetsun Kusho at Sakya Tsechen Thubten Ling, her tantric practice center.

"Her Eminence Jetsun Chimey Luding, or HE Jetsun Kusho, is a leading female teacher of tibetan buddhism living in the West. Jetsunma is one of three women in the history of Tibet to have given the Lamdre ("path and its fruition") teachings, the special system of contemplative and meditative practice of the Sakya order. Thus, she is a thoroughly trained lineage holder.
HE Jetsun Chimey Luding is the Resident Spiritual Director of the Sakya Tsechen Thubten Ling Center in Vancouver, Canada."

Her Eminence is a remarkably good teacher. I have three Vajrayogini empowerments from her. She is a primary lineage holder of the Sakya school, and considered a manifestation of the Great Goddess Vajrayogini herself. Vajrayogini is a central and highest practice of all the New Schools of Tibetan Buddhism, up through and including the Mahamudra teaching of primordial pure awareness.

It is not possible to practice these teachings without empowerment from a qualified lineage holder. Empowerment will include vows of basic Buddhist ethics ( the Ten Precepts ) and sacred vows of Mahayana / Great Way - Universal Service. Buddhist refuge and Mahayana vows are an integral part of every single tantric Buddhist empowerment, as is a commitment to some continuing meditative practice, typically involving mantra recitation.

Mantra means Sanskrit recitation of the names and activities of transcendent beings, i.e. Buddhist angels, in the context of ritual magic and yogic discipline. The purpose of these practices is primarily to develop the transcendent Wisdom, Compassion and Power ( jnana, karuna, bala ) of the fully realized Buddhas, and thereby to become capable of serving the highest good in all humanity from an inner elevated spiritual level. The path includes relative benefits such as inner healing and so forth, but no claims can be made regarding any one practice for any one practitioner.

Buddhist tantra, while a clear and formal spiritual discipline, is a culturally open and flexible path. This empowerment cycle will include a Hindu goddess ( Tinuma / Parvati ) and a Buddhist form of a primary Hindu deity, Avalokitesvara as Ganapati.

Note that I do not in any office represent this teacher or fellowship, and that arrangements may change. Please contact and preregister for all events, and be sure to show up quite a bit early, freshly washed and so forth. When the doors close they close. Space may well be quite limited.

Note also the prerequisite empowerment - either Sakya Hevajra ( included at the beginning of this series ) or Sakya Cakrasamvara. There are no substitutions though other lineages of these transmissions.

May the lineage of Her Eminence Jetsun Kusho flourish long, and may these teachings greatly benefit many.

Angel Music and Inner-Chi

Last Night I had a clear meditation in which Angels asked me to make a disclaimer on this tribe.

Now I presume that for some of you that makes total sense, and for others that sounds fishy or even just plain ridiculous. And that is why I'm writting this.

For the past year I have been taught new layers to using old energy centers. I spent almost eight years reading, practicing, studying and exploring with books, excellent yoga and energy healing teachers, and divine guidance. And then a year ago it took off, and I began getting inspirations and guidance that go beyond anything a human being has taught me.

I have been sharing a lot of that on this tribe.

So in my meditation I was essentially ordered to make this clearer. I have increasing faith in what I'm learning and sharing. And it is important to be clear about where it is coming from.

The foundation is simple. There are four pages in the book the ancient secret of the flower of life volume !! that discuss the thirteen chakra system, with twelve in the body and one above the crown. It diagrams notes beside each chakra, and then moves on to a wide variety of other topics. the system ws given to the author in meditation. He states that it is a 'different' system than the traditional one from india.

I received an image of a three d shape that I will post here, while reading the section, and working as an energy healer and yoga teacher at a center in Berkeley. By meditating on the image with the written system, and my knoweledge and love of music/musical chord progressions... I began learning about an expanded and elegant way to make music with our energy system. It shows e how the systems are not different, they just need to be bridged. I'm learning how to do that well.

I began to get visions guiding me to continue this exploration. Night by night I went deeper. And I've shared most of the path on tribe, and in my blog.

this approach offers ways to read energy systems, clear confusions and dissonance, tune them, rebalance them and then create in ways that go beyond health, into explorations of consciousness and joy.

People have come here asking questions about chakra meaning, health, and balance, and the system I'm learning has provided simple and hopefully clear and helpful insight. What I'm sharing is not commonly established. In fact, I'm trying to commonly establisxh it here.

I grew up loving the smurphs, Star wars, Bruce springsteen Axel Rose, Sinead O'Conner and Tori Amos. I was raised in an academic town, lived and worked in ny city and explored the country for the past five years while learning from healers, artists, musicians, yogis, shamans angels and explorers of many ways. I'm an indigo child of this culture, with passion for liberating myself and the world I came to help rebirth. I'm not trying to be a guru, an egoist, or any 'thing' really.

This is my calling. I believe we can create a world where we learn and pray together without spiritual dominance. That is what inspires me most, to explore ancient ways and nurture them into something beyond their roots, with much more autonomy and freedom through collaboration.

This is an invitation for criticism, and hopefully, *more* collaboration.
